A cute little park right outside of Lancaster. Has tennis courts, basketball courts, playground, and short walking path. Well maintained and asphalt path that is stroller friendly.

Solid little playground. Pretty good slides and swings, especially given the small size of the playground. Itβs a well designed, fun playground with a unique look. Itβs go a fun hide-and-seek kinda activity that my kids loved. At the time of writing this review it is in a better maintained state than most playgrounds. Today is a cool day, but I suspect itβd stay relatively cool even on some pretty hot sunny days, as itβs tucked into a nice wooded area.

This is a really beautiful park, especially if you have young kids. It is really kept up well and the playground is really safely made. Thanks for a nice place to relax.

Totally irritated that, as of this year, no one may use pool noodles. Floating and relaxing is the only reason I use the pool. Certainly wish that I had known of this change before wasting more than $150 on a pool pass card. I will be treating the neighbor kids, I guess.

Stauffer Park is located here as well as Stauffer Mansion which serves as the home base for Manheim Township Parks and Recreation. The park itself is great. Despite being only about 8 acres, it maintains quality softball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a playground. Overlook Park gets the most attention, but this is a hidden gem. There are also picnic tables and a short bike/walking path through the park and the trees provide a lot of shade. Beware the mosquitoes in the summer however and use your deep woods OFF. Manheim does a great job with all it's parks. The only issue I have is the maintenance of it's botanical garden and plantings. The garden itself is in need of a major redo since there are very few unique plants and many volunteer trees have taken root. The mulch around the trees in the rest of the park is hit or miss since the squirrels root it up all the time and it is allowed to wash away for much of the year. I don't know why they don't just plant some durable ground covers under all the trees and be done with it. Over all I would recommend using this park.
